Producer of "Musik" & "512" By William Eggleston
Twice grammy nominated original co-founder of The Numero Group.
As a neurodivergent artist, everything that can be said about an image I've created is in the image. Duane Michals has said that he shoots first and ask questions later; that's also the whole of my own approach to taking photographs. Occasionally, several images will appear to constitute a project, but in reality, there was no intent to create a project and no idea, ideology, or philosophy behind it. There should be no explanation behind it. I've given these images to you and your analysis of them and the feelings they may invoke belong to you as much as the image belongs to me. I don't need to explain myself to myself. My photography is the transference of what I see to what you see.
Saul Leiter  said, "I don't have an ideology, I have a camera."
